GOOD GOVERNMENT

An open, transparent government is required for democracy to thrive.  We need a system of checks and balances, not another political insider in County government.  Nepotism, patronage, corruption and citizen mistrust loom large in Clermont County.  We must be able to trust and have confidence in the officials who represent us.

 

SOLID ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Priority must be given to creating good jobs in Clermont County. Current economic development policies divert voter approved funding from senior citizens, children’s, mental health, libraries and other vital public services.  There are questions as to how our tax dollars are being spent.  Our goal must be sustainable economic growth.

 

EXCELLENT QUALITY OF LIFE

Clermont County is blessed with an amazing abundance of history and natural resources.  We must ensure that growth does not impede our quality of life.

 

I am looking forward to the journey to November. There are many pressing issues currently facing Clermont County.  The iron grip that political insiders have upon our county government has led to serious questions about how our tax dollars have been spent. The best check against corruption and abuse of power is to elect concerned citizens who possess judgment and leadership skills to provide oversight and change the way things are done.  As a certified urban planner with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and my experience at the local level, I am qualified to provide that oversight and leadership.  I am eager to serve all the citizens of Clermont County.
